Jun 14, 2017 · Posted June 14, 2017. Don't bother taming one or raising one if you don't want to keep feeding it meat or stuffing the trough with stacks of meat like every single day. I raised one on official, took 3 days 22 hours, a lvl 180 or so. It was a nightmare to raise, it ate like crazy and kept knocking itself out because it can't sleep as a baby. It can’t be picked up an you can shoot from the back. If you want to tame a Megalosaurus, go to The Center to the jungle cave entrance near the pond. There is always one or more. Try to enter the cave with something strong, a Carno would be enough at day time, but in the night, it would probably be a lethal meeting.Posted August 3, 2019. On the island are always 4 WILD megalos, but they are not like the titan. Once you are able to tame one, a new wild one spawns. But taming them on the island is not really the best place, because there are only 4 on the whole map. Taming them is much easier on Aberration or on The Center.
