Prison of elders nightfall champions

I'm trying for solo flawless Prison of Elders for 100k pinnacle and I got to the end once and had the champions spawn but ended up dying and started over. But ever since I've gotten to the end 4-5 times and the champions don't spawn which I need to get the 100k for legendary, is there something I need to do or I'm missing?
