That's my go to shoes. I only wear vans/DC shoes for the last 20+ years. I have a couple pairs of Merrell’s that I use specifically for travel. Pricey, but depending on the shoes, they work well on all sorts of terrain. As sneakers go, the Nike Free RN Flyknit 2018 is a very slim look.

Employee here: For years and years, outlets were there to clear old seasonal stock generated and not sold through in a retail store anymore. As Vans became more and more popular in both Retail and Outlet, the Outlets couldn’t keep up with the demand of stock. They were basically barely getting anything from retail to fill the shelves.

My favorites for comfort are Skate Classics and Ultraranges, although, Ultraranges don’t have the classic Vans style/look. stefan714 • 7 mo. ago. What's the weather like? They’re double stitched, have something that is called duracap which is basically an extra shield under the shoes main material (suede, canvas, etc) which makes them last longer. Vans are cool in the most low-key way possible: to me, wearing a pair of Vans says “I wanted to buy a nice pair of sneakers, and I also wanted enough money left over to buy weed afterward.” A quintessential skater shoe — way more than SBs, if we’re being honest. Best way to deadlift will always be as barefoot as possible, vans are great because of how flat they are. Converse are mid mostly because of the narrow toe, wrestling shoes is a good idea but I dunno the price point. Any with comfy Cush. I purr like a kitten wearing them. Well, not literally, but they are really comfortable.Thats good to know. I have really small feet and sometimes the sizes on shoes are bigger or smaller, so its always good to know that they are true to size. DCs are my favorite. They are more chunky and maybe a little wider in the toe area. Vans are a solid choice as well, but no where near as comfortable.

IMO real MTB shoes are worth the price. They’ll have more supportive soles than Vans, but more importantly they are much tougher.
