As Vans became more and more popular in both Retail and Outlet, the Outlets couldn’t keep up with the demand of stock. They were basically barely getting anything from retail to fill the shelves.

"True to size" doesn't really exist. I wear 10 in Vans old skool, sk8 hi, slip ons, but Vans AVE in 10 crushes my feet. My feet are a bit wide and a bit taller than a lot of other people's. I wear 10.5 in Nike and DC, 9 wide in Clarks, and I have some other shoes that are 9, 9.5, 10, and 10.5
